ABOUT DR. SMITH
Dr. Smith earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and is board certified as both a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master's at Wright State University, Doctoral Degree at Touro University, and Post-Doctorate at Brandman University. She is Certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.
She has been an RN since 1996 and has worked in many specialties including open heart recovery, ICU, ER, and hospice.
As a provider who is autistic with autistic family members, she has first hand knowledge of the joys and struggles, specifically finding providers who understand and treat adults. She has a deep interest in supporting adults on the spectrum and their families.
Bella
Bella is mom to her fur baby Holly. She likes to travel, watch movies, and bake. But Holly demands walks in the park and pampering. "My baby comes first. We do what she wants!"
Bella loves animals and hoodies, but has misophonia - so no thanks on loud chewing and lip smacking.
Janet
Janet lives with her partner and dog Maggie. She has two adult children and loves to travel with her family. She is a book nerd and history junkie, so she loves to hear about her patient's history, culture and travels. "There is nothing better than being a temporary local by talking to one."
When she has spare time, she paints (not well) and makes miniature houses. She can also be found in the garden, trying to keep plants alive. Janet doesn't like bright light or strong smells- you will always see her in sunglasses, but never in a perfume store.
